The Porsche 906, or Carrera 6, was a fibreglass-bodied homologation racer and effectively the last Porsche competition car that could still be driven on the road. Powered by a flat-six and built in small numbers to qualify for GT racing, it scored class wins and high overall finishes at Daytona, Sebring, and the Targa Florio. Its rarity and dual road-race character make it a highly sought-after vintage Porsche.
