The Porsche 959 was a technological tour de force built to homologate Porsche's Group B programme, pairing a twin-turbocharged flat-six with a sophisticated computer-controlled all-wheel-drive system. One of the fastest road cars of its era, it also won the Paris–Dakar Rally in off-road trim. Roughly 300 were built, and well-kept examples remain blue-chip collector Porsches.
