The Porsche 962 is the endurance-racing evolution of the 956, rebodied for IMSA GTP and Group C competition with a longer wheelbase and its turbocharged flat-six. It dominated sports-car racing through the late 1980s, taking overall wins at Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring, and remains one of the most successful prototypes ever built. Genuine 962s rarely come to market and command seven-figure prices when they do.
