The Pre-A is the original Porsche 356, built from 1948 to 1955 and identifiable by its split or bent windscreen and delicate early coachwork. Powered by modest air-cooled flat-fours developed from Volkswagen roots, these are the rarest and most historically significant 356s, and clean examples — especially Speedsters and four-cam Carreras — sit at the very top of the 356 market.
